I have competed in bodybuilding competitions in the past (INBA and IFBB) and placed top 3 in the bikini division for both. I am also currently studying my Masters in Human Nutrition. I also hold double degree in finance and accounting and work in the finance industry as a Credit Analyst. However my passion lies with fitness and nutrition and always has my whole life. I started weight training 6 years ago and never looked back. I think I tried every diet under the sun also! You may see my instagram and it may not be all about fitness and nutrition, that's because I live a healthy balanced life now which means there's no strict dieting and I can still have fun while incorporating training and nutrition fundamentals that I have learnt over the years. This has been a long journey for me to get to this point because I have dealt with eating disorders in the past. Competitions gave me a structure but they also opened my eyes to a very extreme way of life. I am so passionate about promoting healthy body image, not the warped extremes in which the fitness industry seems to show at times. I know firsthand the damage it can have mentally and physically and know way too many women around me that deal with these struggles and feel the pressure to be perfect and super lean (and in turn cause hormonal problems and unhealthy idealizations with what health really is). So if I were chosen to win this comp it would mean more that just self promotion. It would mean I could gain the opportunity to tell more of my story and reach out to women which I know feel the same pressures that I have felt in the past. How can we support and overcome them together and how can we incorporate fitness and health in the real world!
