Biography

My name is Georgie and I’m a medical student from Adelaide. I come from a highly sports-oriented family and have quite a diverse sporting background.

I was drawn to sport from a young age and grew up playing soccer, tennis, field hockey, rugby 7’s and martial arts. As I live near the beach, I spend a lot of time surfing, paddle boarding, water skiing, knee boarding and wake boarding. While I am primarily a sprinter, I have also competed in long distance running events and triathlons as well.

As a future healthcare professional, fitness and nutrition are extremely important to me and play a large part in my day to day life. I love keeping active by getting involved in team sports and strength training at the gym. I’m highly motivated, I have an energetic and positive attitude and I’m willing to give anything a go!
