Nicholas

I am Nic, an elite athlete with the Australian National Cross-Country Ski Team. I have been an athlete for the last 8 years, skied internationally for the last five and have represented Australia at the last 3 Junior World Ski Championships. I have been pushing the limits of my body in terms of its performance potential for the last five years and understand the work it takes to train both hard but effectively.

I strive to build my body into the perfect collaboration of power and aerobic efficiency. My body image always takes a back seat to performance, however at the elite level most people have great physiques as it coincides with a body that is performing at the top level in this sport. I have been involved in various sports such as AFL and cricket my entire life and always enjoyed the active lifestyle.

I now train about 800 hrs a year. I am an advocate for healthy living, a representative for sporting companies and volunteer coach for my local ski club and state ski team. I am a great community and team member having volunteered many times, particularly in events concerning the fitness or the environment, as it’s a way for me to contribute positively to my local area and hopefully better people’s quality of life.
