I got my first taste of competition at a young age, becoming the Victorian Karate Champion from ages 9 to 13 and claiming the Australian title at just 12. That early exposure to high-performance sport taught me what it takes to excel at the top level — discipline, obsession, and relentless drive.
Outside the dojo, I thrived in team sports. I averaged 97 with the bat during my Under-16s cricket season and was a standout player in my local AFL team. In school competitions, our team of four won the Victorian squash championship in Year 10, consistently reached the state finals in tennis, and saw success in badminton and hockey. Sport wasn’t just something I did — it was in my DNA.
But everything changed during my Under-18 AFL grand final. A collision in a pack left me with a broken neck — and what felt like a broken dream. Up until that point, I had envisioned a life built around sport. The injury forced me to hit pause, reassess, and take a gap year that ultimately redirected my path toward a degree in Exercise and Sport Science, with a core focus on rehabilitation and performance training.
Recovering from the injury became my mission. It dramatically affected my posture, movement, and overall function — and through the process of rebuilding myself, I gained a deep, firsthand understanding of how the body truly works. That journey led me to develop my own methods for injury rehab, postural correction, and athletic development — which I’ve since used to help a range of clients, from everyday movers to juniors.
In December 2024, I left the corporate finance world to return to the space that made me feel most alive: fitness. Today, I’m fully immersed in high-performance training, calisthenics, and the science of micronutrients and minerals for optimal performance.
This is more than a lifestyle — it’s my purpose. And I’m all in.
